Hot Tip

• If you have to do proposals

   do them well...

Proposals should restate

the pain as well as how you

    will eliminate it.

  They should also address

what you will do after the

       sale!

Present a Preliminary  Proposal

Presenting your preliminary proposal is an extremely important step in the sale; use the following tips to make your presentation the most powerful:

1)      Always pre-establish your presentation goals and review your pre-planning checklist.

2)      Always present your preliminary proposal in person.

3)      Reconfirm your prospect's objectives and desired outcomes. Focus your presentation on those outcomes!

4)      Position yourself as unique and results oriented.

5)      Continuously check that you and your prospect are in agreement by observing positive body language and responses.

6)      Focus on your prospect's emotional desire for change and the repercussions of not changing.

7)      Tie the prospect's needs and wants to the payoffs and benefits/return on investment they will derive.

8)      At every step, reconfirm that your ideas and approach are meeting your prospect's expectations; get agreement as often as possible.

9)      Help the prospect to see the value of this investment by quantifying return on investment numbers.
